Privacy Policy

Last updated October 5, 2026

This policy explains what OneThread collects through onethread.world, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and specific to what the site actually does.

What we collect

When you use our partner or participant form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, your message, and which form you used.

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. It records the pages you visit, how you arrived (for example, a search or a link in a newsletter), your device and browser type, your approximate location (city or country, based on your IP address), and when you open or submit a form. It uses cookies to do this.

Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested, to run and secure the site.

Your cookie choice is saved in your own browser so we don't ask again.

How we use it

We use what you send through the forms to reply to you, to consider your interest in a trip or a partnership, and to keep you updated about the program you asked about.

We use analytics to see which pages and channels work, so we can improve the site and our outreach. We don't use analytics for advertising, and Google's advertising features are turned off on this site.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information.

We don't share your information with sponsors or partners unless you clearly opt in to that sharing.

We use a small number of service providers to run the site: Google (Google Sheets, where form responses are stored, and Google Analytics) and Vercel (hosting). They process data for us under their own privacy and security terms. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and your choices

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, analytics cookies stay off unless you accept them in the banner. You can decline, and the site works the same either way.

Elsewhere, analytics cookies are on by default. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out tool at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How long we keep it

We keep form responses for as long as we need them to run the program and keep you informed, or until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information you've sent us, or to stop sending you updates. Email hello@onethread.world and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you're in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you also have the right to object to or restrict our use of your information, to receive a copy of it, and to complain to your data protection authority. In Ireland, that's the Data Protection Commission. We rely on your consent for analytics cookies, and on our legitimate interest in replying to you for form responses.

If you're in California, note that we don't sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Where your data is stored

Our service providers store data in the United States. If you're outside the U.S., your information is transferred there when you use the site.

Children

This site is meant for adults. Our programs are for people aged 21 to 30, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
